Here’s a fun project you can make for your one true love!

You'll need three jumbo paperclips and five 6mm glass beads.

Make the frame.

Straighten out a jumbo paper clip then shape it as shown with two loops to act as axle holes.

Guide loop

Bend over the top of the wire and add the guide loop at the top.

The Crank

Shape a second straightened paper clip as shown, adding the beads as you do so.

Fitting the Crank

Thread the long end of the crank wire into the frame then pull the frame out to fit the other end of the crank. Add a final bead and shape the wire into a handle. Trim off any excess wire

.

The Heart

Make the heart from the third paper clip. Add a loop at the bottom end so that it is twisted 90 degrees compared to the heart.

The main shaft is roughly 60mm long, trim off the excess wire

.Finish the Model

Thread the heart into position onto loop it onto the crank to finish the model.

Turn the handle to make your heart soar
