After the fun of last month’s EMF Camp workshop, I’ve been looking back through some of the other clothes‑peg automata on my site. I’ve picked out this seagull project to share in the newsletter. Originally posted on robives.com in 2017, it’s been a while! It’s interesting revisiting these earlier models, I think my mechanisms have come on a bit since then, but it’s still a fun project and I hope you enjoy it.

You can pick up the project as a downloadable PDF from my website for a modest fee. Premium subscribers, meanwhile, can download it for free, just scroll to the bottom of this page.

Thanks for reading this very quick newsletter! I hope you have fun with this little seagull project and enjoy a bit of making time this week. If you’d like to support the newsletter and follow along with future builds, you’re always welcome to subscribe. It really does help keep these projects flapping along!
