Inspired by a butterfly I photographed whilst walking by the canal, the cork butterfly is a bead and wire project with full instructions and parts for you to download and make
The butterfly flitted from plant to plant, settling briefly on an ivy where I snapped this photo on my phone. Later on, I dropped the photo into the laptop, cut out one of the wings, duplicated it and flipped it to make the basis of the Cork Butterfly project.
As well as the templates and instruction in the download you’ll need a few bits and pieces to make this STEAMjunk project. Zip tie, cork, jumbo paperclips and 6mm glass beads.
The downloadable file includes the butterfly parts, templates for making the bead and wire mechanism and step by step illustrated instructions
As always members of www.robives.com and paid subscribers to this newsletter can download the file for free at the bottom of the newsletter, thanks for your support! Non members can join in the fun for £2.50 or equivalent here.
