Heart Beat is a #STEAMjunk project. STEAM - as is Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics and Junk - as in, made from everyday materials often found around the home or maker space.
The project is based around a corrugated card box with a pencil for an axle, an EVA foam heart and a bamboo skewer with a wooden bead as the simple beater. Turn the handle and make the heart beat! The project comes as a pair of downloadable pdf files, one for the instructions and one for the parts templates. If you are paid subscriber you can download the project at the foot of this page as well as all the projects from previous newsletters, thank you for your support!
If you are not a paid subscriber you can still join in the fun by visiting the website and downloading the project here.
