Matchbox Swan
#STEAMjunk project to download and make
Open the matchbox and the swan slides into view! Swan Vestas are a well known brand of match in the UK - hopefully the beautiful box is also available in other places around the world.

The swan is fitted onto a travelling belt which moves across as the matchbox is opened sliding it into view.
A pair of drinking straws are used as the rollers for the conveyor belt. The rollers don’t actual roll to make construction easier.
.The project is finished off with a bit of foliage to make it into a riverside vista.
