Not quite a T. Rex, but definitely one of the theropods, this simple wire dino makes an adorable desktop companion that’s right at home on your desk, shelf, or mantelpiece.

In a delightfully meta twist, the project download is a set of instructions... for making the instructions! Print out the PDF to create a mini zine, then follow the zine’s steps to craft your very own wire dino. Recursive crafting? Yes, please.

Downloadable pdf

🦕 What you’ll get:

  • A printable PDF where the first page folds into a palm-sized zine

  • Inside: easy-to-follow steps to bend your dino into shape

  • Bonus joy: folding paper and wire into something uniquely prehistoric

Zine pages to fold into a mini booklet

To make a shareable kit:

  1. Tuck the finished zine into a 3.5” × 4.5” zip-lock bag

  2. Add three jumbo paper clips and a terminal block

  3. Voilà! A Wire Dino Zine Pack—perfect for gifting or guerrilla crafting

Leave one on a café table, hand them out at your next maker meetup, or slip one to a curious friend. Spread some analogue joy, one prehistoric project at a time.
